Laddonia-Services for Roberta June Stuart , 94, of Vandalia, will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Bienhoff Funeral Home, Laddonia, with Reverend Tom Baltrusaitis officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens at Vandalia. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Bienhoff Funeral Home, Laddonia. Mrs. Stuart was born June 29, 1918, in Vandalia, the daughter of Fred and Ethel Lamme Naysmith. She was married to Bernard Eugene Stuart on April 9, 1939 in Bowling Green and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1987. Survivors include two daughters, Pat (Joe) Troesser of Laddonia and Alice (Ron) Weeks of Montgomery City; four grandchildren, Kevin (Beth) Montague of Broomfield, CO, Steven (Donna) Troesser of Mexico, Angie (Andy) Kropf of Columbia, and Daniel (Jenny) Troesser of Laddonia; seven great-grandchildren, Megan (Lee) Bell of Bourbon, Josh Montague of Auxvasse, Grace and Wyatt Troesser of Mexico, Emily Kropf of Columbia and Courtney Arens and Allison Troesser of Laddonia; two sisters-in-law, Janice Naysmith of Laddonia and Retha Hablutzel of Wellsville; a special niece, Sandy Chandler of Vandalia; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Vernie Naysmith, Glenn Naysmith and Johnnie Naysmith; five sisters, Elnore Jensen, Leta Chenoweth, Gladys Branstetter, Cora Lena Doyle and Eva Blanch Least; and one granddaughter, Sheri Montague. Mrs. Stuart was a lifetime area resident. She worked at Ely Walker Factory as a seamstress and a model. She was active in her community and enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was a member of the Laddonia Rebekah Lodge for 35 years and a member of Cheerful Homemaker Club. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Vandalia and attended the Laddonia Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jack and June Stuart Medical Scholarship, in care of Pat Troesser, Trustee, 32584 Audrain Rd. 472, Laddonia, MO 63352 Pallbearers will be Darus Love, Ronnie Heaton, Gayle Stuart, Eddie Stone, John Schlemmer, and Lawrence Hoyt.
