CENTER-Memorial services for Charles Robert Cunningham, Sr., 75, of Center will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Center, with Reverend Drew Sutor officiating. Burial will be in Pauline Cemetery, Rutledge. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Mr. Cunningham passed away at 3 a.m. February 2, 2013 at his home. He was born June 21, 1937 in Fabius, Mo., the son of John Robert and Ruth Maurine Hudnut Cunningham. Survivors include two sons; Charles Cunningham, Jr. and Darrel (Angela) Cunningham, both of Independence; one daughter, Rebecca L. Deveroux of Chicago, Ill.; six brothers, Ed (Christine) McGinnis of Kansas City, Terry McGinnis, Dennis (Connie) McGinnis, and Vincent McGinnis, all of Keokuk, Iowa; Jay (Sara) McGinnis of Sheridan, Wyoming, and Mike (Alice) McGinnis of Hamilton, Ill.; two sisters, Becky Kerr of Keokuk, Iowa, and Pat (Jim) Swafford of Mediapolis, Iowa; ten grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Krewez. Mr. Cunningham moved to Center in 1994 coming from Eolia. He was a farmer and a truck driver. He drove for Stuart Trucking for 13 years before he retired. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the National Hot Rod Association. His favorite hobby was to pull tractors.
