Margaret Ann Horn

Center – Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Ann Horn, 79, of Center, will be held Tuesday, February 12 at 11:00 a.m., at the Olivet Christian Church in Center. Burial will be in Center Cemetery. The Reverend Drew Sutor will officiate. Mrs. Horn passed away Saturday, February 9 at her residence.

Visitation will be Monday, February 11, from 5-7 p.m. at the Olivet Christian Church. Bienhoff Funeral Home in Center is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Horn was born in rural Center on April 18, 1933, to Lewis and Opal Rice Palmer. She was married to Jesse Horn who preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Tom (Michelle) Horn, of Jefferson City, and Ron Horn of Center; one brother, Ed (Beverley) Palmer, Center; one sister, Mary (George) Lane, Center; 6 grandchildren, Heather, Rachel, Brennen, Madison, Tannor, and Ellianna; a very special friend, Betty McClintock, Center; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded by two brothers, Lewis Palmer, Jr., and Jack Palmer.

Mrs. Horn retired from Agriculture Stabilization Conservation Service (ASCS) after 37 years of service. She was a member of the Olivet Christian Church, where she had been treasurer for many years, and was involved in the Christian Women’s Fellowship. She had also volunteered with the Hannibal Regional Hospital Auxiliary where she enjoyed working in the gift shop.

Pallbearers will be David Palmer, Chase Palmer, John Paul Miller, Don Palmer, Dwight Naber, and Jamie Mills. Honorary pallbearers will be John Palmer, Jim Palmer, Eddie Joe Hamill, Craig Brown, Linda Hodges, Sharon Lewton, Sharon Jackson, and Norma Swon.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Olivet Christian Church.
